Why do we serve?
At Homestead ministries- we try to plant a seed for compassion- we make delicious and nutritious products to give to the less-fortunate. Our team purchases commodities, spices, bags and everything to make the soups. Thanks to great partners, we purchased a (2) new utility trailers that are designed to haul all of the items we would need to assemble the products. These ready to cook packages are then delivered to local food banks and churches to be given to those in need. We contact (and are contacted) by local organizations like 4-H clubs, college students from WSU and the U of I, and both private and public schools

Our Service Area
Homestead Ministries primarily serves the hungry across the Pacific Northwest. Our product goes to homeless shelters and food banks around the Palouse Region all the way to Spokane and Boise. We have volunteers who drive long-haul trucks that have a box of our soups in the cab and will give them out to the needy at truck stops throughout Idaho and Montana.
This ministry also gives people the opportunity to get hands-on experience and participate in something that not only gives to others but the participants themselves come out feeling blessed and rewarded.
